Since 8 October 2026 the Aurecort blog has published a tennis roundup every day. Which tournaments are on, where the matches are played and on what surface, who beat whom and by what score, which matches come next: all in one piece, in seven languages. This page explains what the daily tennis roundup contains, how we check the information, and how you can follow tennis this week from here.
What we write every day
Every piece follows the same order. First come the tournaments being played that week: city, venue, surface and category. Then the results of the last 24 hours, with scores. The player and match of the day get their own section, with the score and a measured comment. The piece ends with the matches coming up and what is worth watching.
The coverage is not limited to the biggest events: ATP and WTA tournaments, the Grand Slams, the Davis Cup, the Billie Jean King Cup and the season-ending finals are all part of it. Turkish players are included whenever their results can be verified.
How we check the information
Tennis news moves fast; it is easy to get a score wrong or to report an unfinished match as finished. That is why every piece goes through the same checks before it is published.
The two-source rule
Every score and every "who beat whom" must appear either in an official source (the ATP, the WTA or the tournament's own site) or, identically, in at least two independent sources. Information found in a single source, or on which sources disagree, is left out. On some days this means a match duration or a statistic is missing; missing information is better than wrong information.
No result for an unfinished match
The first paragraph of every piece states the day and the part of the day as of which the information holds. A match that has not finished by then is described as still to be played; the result is not guessed. The tennis roundup of 9 October is an example: two matches had not finished when the piece was prepared, and it said so. Once they were over, the results were added to the same piece: Hubert Hurkacz beat Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-3 in Shanghai, and Elise Mertens beat Iga Swiatek 7-6(0), 6-3 in Beijing.
Comment is kept apart from fact
Scores, dates and rounds are facts; sentences such as "less time on court can be seen as valuable" are comment, and are written as comment. Betting odds, tips, rumour and private life have no place in these pieces. Injuries and withdrawals are reported only as far as they have been announced.
Mistakes are corrected
If a score or a fact turns out to be wrong after publication, the piece is corrected. Yesterday's result is not retold the next day; a short reminder and a link are enough. That way every piece opens with what changed that day.
How to follow tennis this week from here
The pieces are published every afternoon, Istanbul time. The newest one sits at the top of the Aurecort blog page; bookmarking that page is all it takes to follow along daily. The addresses carry the date, for example aurecort.com/en/tennis-this-week-9-october-2026, so going back to an earlier day is easy.
Latest pieces: 9 October: Zheng into the Beijing semi-finals, Djokovic out in Shanghai and 8 October: the semi-final race in Beijing, first rounds in Shanghai.
Every piece is published in Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Arabic.
Why we write about tennis every day
Aurecort makes tennis-themed wall art and display pieces in Kadıköy, Istanbul. The surface, colour and lines of a court are the material of that work; following which surface and which city the season is moving through is how we keep that world current. You can read about how surfaces shape the game and the picture in our piece on tennis court surfaces and colours, and see all the work on the Our Products page.
Aurecort is not a sponsor or official partner of any tournament, tour or player; the daily tennis roundup is written from the viewpoint of an independent observer.
